Conferences often result in ‘one-and-done’ experience, yet when Jesus commissioned the church to make disciples of all nations, his intent was far from that. Our aim is for this booklet to serve as a source of continued inspiration, keeping the momentum alive. You can use it not only for personal benefit but also to remind you of the urgency in making disciples.
A visionary leader with a heart dedicated to transforming lives. Born a Child of Deaf Adults (CODA), American Sign Language (ASL) was his first language and remains his heart language. His passion for the Deaf community’s access to the Word of God has taken him around the world as a minister and advocate. J.R.’s groundbreaking spirit led to the establishment of a Deaf ministry in Ethiopia, complete with a Deaf-staffed cafu00e9 and sign language training centers. As the former Director of Deaf Bible and Founder/President of Deaf Bible Society, he pioneered the widely acclaimed Deaf Bible app, impacting hundreds of thousands globally. Collaborating with esteemed organizations like Wycliffe Bible Translators and Deaf Missions, J.R. envisions a world where every person has access to a Bible in the language they understand the best. Currently, J.R. serves as the Chief Advancement Officer at Pioneer Bible Translators and the Chief Steward of Church Mobilization at illumiNations.u00a0
